A Brief History of the Company
Roots of the company stretch all the way back to about 35 years ago, when future founder and designer, Sharon Lee Hudson spent her free time drawing funny heart characters by hand, on paper. These characters did a variety of things, such as dreaming, jumping, and running. Usually these activities were connected in some way to the topic of love.

Ms. Hudson made several attempts to create a greetings card company from the drawings, but was unable to.
Decades later in 2019, after experiencing years of physical, emotional, and financial challenges, Ms. Hudson, who was living in despair, picked herself up, brought her whimsical creations back to life, updated them, and tried again. Thus, Designs, Sharon Lee Hudson was born.
As time went by, Ms. Hudson started creating more designs beyond cute heart characters. She also began to explore various lettering styles. While some letter appears on products in a clear, straightforward fashion, other letters are delicate and elegant.
By late September 2019 the company was opened for business. In November of the same year, the company experienced its first sale.
